But first, I want to let you in on something:

I am a “Self improvement” NUT.

I’ve read all the health and fitness books and gone to the seminars, too.

I have tried so many different diets, tried every new/old exercise, read so many books and been to so many seminars, you’d think I was going for the RECORD or something.

And here’s what I found:

Every one of them had some “good info” – and some info that was useless to me.

But some of them had techniques that actually made my life WORSE.

Yes, you read that right.

Some of the things I learned and tried out actually made me GAIN Fat and make me lose so much energy I would nearly fall asleep at the wheel.

One system I used made me gain 5kgs in 2 weeks plus I was tired all day and was so bad that even my mum said to me that my bum had gotten huge!

Thanks mum.

Another system I studied had me drinking so many meal replacement shakes I started dreaming about them in my sleep.

They were making me so hungry I couldn’t stop thinking about food and at the same time it destroyed my metabolism.

Deep down I knew that this was a fad and I had to remember that I wanted to not only look better but feel better as well…..

But The Advice Wasn’t All Bad…

Don’t get me wrong here.

Just because every system I tried wasn’t perfect, I did learn a LOT about weight loss and health from these systems.

It’s just that there were enough “missing pieces” from each system I tried… that it prevented it from working for me “as-is.”

I’m sure you can relate to what I’m talking about.

So I decided to “rebuild” my entire approach to losing weight and feeling great.

One of my rules was if I didn’t feel healthy and strong, then NOTHING I did would be ok with me.

I would not sacrifice my health again as it took me years to get back to being healthy after going on all the no sugar/low carb/no carb diets.

Plus going on these types of diets are no fun and stuffs up your social life.

I spent the next few years reading a lot of books, spoke to experts , travelled overseas and went to seminars, became a Personal Trainer, Scientific Core and Back Specialist, CHEK Exercise Coach, Holistic Lifestyle Coach and Metabolic Typing and Blueprint advisor and FMA Strength and Performance coach  to name a few.

I was constantly absorbing and testing everything and anything that came across my desk and trying out a lot of whacky ideas I was learning.

The real “break” came when I started meeting and hanging out with people who were experts and pointed me in the right direction.

As I learnt from these people, I noticed that they ate, worked out and did exercises that REALLY didn’t “add up”.

The more I saw things that “didn’t make sense” actually WORKING with my friends, the more I began thinking that I might be on the verge of discovering something big.

To make a long story short, I made rapid progress by learning from these “experts”, and I took the things I learned from them… tested and refined the ideas and put it all together for myself.

As a result, I began to reshape my body faster and easier than I have ever done before in the last 10 years.

Changing just a few things that my new friends had taught me made a HUGE difference INSTANTLY.

The best part is that I have been able to refine the learning into 3 principles that you can apply to any situation.
